Search and Rescue. Context for the mission.
Bring a sighting, its timing and movement history into the search team’s review. Check the source records alongside the wider search information.
Contact
Bring observations, positions and movement history into the search team’s review. ResQVision connects relevant sensor records with the footage and conditions behind them, helping coordinators assess a sighting alongside their wider search information.
At a glance
The inputs
Camera, radar, AIS, weather, wearable, asset-tracking and GPS feeds relevant to the search.
The context
Observed subjects, available positions, movement history, timestamps and conditions.
The decision
The search coordinator checks the source records against the search plan and other reports.
Follow the observation
Detect visible people and track their movement within camera coverage. Review the footage around a sighting, its timing and the area shown. Wearable, asset-tracking and GPS reports add timestamped position history where those feeds are available.
Example configuration
A person is observed in aerial video.
- The input
- Authorised video from the mission’s aerial camera.
- The analysis
- People detections and movement tracks within the view.
- The search team
- Review the footage and timing against reports and other search information.
Illustrative workflow. The camera view, task and delivery are agreed for the mission.

Combine fixed and aerial viewpoints
A fixed camera observes one area over time; a drone or aircraft camera provides a changing view. Radar and AIS add vessel tracks and reports, while weather describes the conditions around an observation.
Assess coverage, target detail and visibility for each input. The recorded aerial vessel example is a demonstration of observations within a camera view, rather than a completed search mission.
Support the search coordinator’s decision
Give the team the observation, time, available position and movement history, with the footage, tracks or readings that support it. Coordinators check these records against the search plan and other reports, then follow their operational procedures.
A position reported by GPS or another source is distinct from a location inferred from video. Confirm the source and integration when location is required. The output supports coordination; it does not establish complete coverage of the search area.
Start with the search task
Tell us the subject, the area to search, the sensor feeds available and what the coordinator needs to receive. An assessment can examine coverage, useful detections and tracks, missed events, false alerts and delivery to the team.
The free camera assessment covers one view. Mission-specific integrations and controlled live trials have a separately agreed scope.
